The purpose of this study is to verify if the FAT obesity camp would affect female college students’ binge
eating behavior, obesity degree, body image and self-efficacy. Flyers to invite voluntary research participants were
distributed at five colleges in ‘M’ district, M city, Jeollanam-do as the same notice appeared on the websites of
those colleges. Integrated approach was attempted to bring out cognitive-emotional-behavioral changes including
physical activities and meditation, cooking classes, etc.
Window SPSS 21.0 was used to conduct a statistical analysis to verify hypotheses and, Wilcoxon Signed
Ranks test was applied to carrying out the frequency analysis and the paired-difference non-parametric
verification. According to the findings of this study, it was learned that the FAT obesity camp makes changes in
the overweight female college students’ binge eating behavior, obesity degree, body image and self-efficacy.
