This thesis could confirm that the Chinese movie 《Lost on Journey》 included total 36 areas, as the result of interpreting the lines thereof based on total 46 detail regions of 2009 revised Chinese language curriculum 'Basic expression of Communication'. This proves that “Lost on Journey” is very useful for Chinese language learning as an audio-visual material. Also, selected 12 scenes for education mainly with basic expressions for communication of the interpreted lines in the movie, and suggested the parts useful for educational application. All of the lines of 12 scenes were made within around one minute's image, considering learners' learning level, also, besides basic communication expression, level of difficulty was considered by selecting the scenes which contained 400 basic vocabulary which 'Chinese language I' recommends to study. ‘Chinese language Ⅰ’ curriculum aims at not only cultivating basic ability for communicating in Chinese, but also comprehensive understanding about China, so that scenes which contained the lines that can maximize audio-visual study as well as cultural content were selected. Also, suggested the standard how to utilize the content about pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, society, culture, neologism, fashionable words, slang, etc. through the lines of 12 scenes. Education which utilizes films is a good method for foreign language learning to overcome restricted classroom environment. In China, lots of films which have high quality of work, popularity, and reflect sociocultural phenomena continuously. Teachers are required to have an interest in new films constantly along with the flow of time, and exert efforts to utilize them for education.
