본 연구에서는 농어촌 중등학교 교원들의 교사 직무에 대한 인식을 알아보기 위하여, 농어촌 학교의 학교교육계획서 분석, 농어촌 학교 교원 면담, 그리고 농어촌 학교 교원들을 대상으로 6개영역 22개업무의 직무 특성에 대한 인식 조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 농어촌 학교 교원들은 자신들의 직무에 대해 대체적으로 중요도와 준비도는 높게, 난이도는 보통으로 평가하고 있었다. 이는 농어촌 학교 교원들이 자신들의 업무에 대해서 어려움은 느끼지 않으나, 중요하게 인식하고 있었으며, 또한 교원양성기관에서의 준비도는 매우 필요한 것으로 인식하고 있음을 보여준다. 본 연구 결과는 첫째, 농어촌 학교 교원들이 맡고 있는 직무들 간의 우선순위나 가중치 부여 방안을 고려해 볼 필요가 있다는 점, 둘째, 농어촌 학교 교원들의 수업활동과 관련하여 지속적인 재교육 및 지원이 필요하다는 점, 셋째, 농어촌 학교 교원들의 직무 능력 향상을 위한 프로그램 개발이 필요하다는 점 등의 측면에서 중요한 시사를 제공해 주고 있다.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the jobs of secondary school teachers in fishing and agrarian communities. For that purpose, we collected and reviewed each schools' 「Annual education planning」 andinterviewed secondary school teachers in fishing and agrarian communities. We also asked the teachers of answering to the questionnaire on the jobs of secondary school teachers in fishing and agrarian communities. The results of this research were as followings: teachers in fishing and agrarian communities think that their job is important but not difficult. And they think that their job needs to be prepared in teacher education course. The results of this research suggest some hints for secondary school teachers in fishing and agrarian communities in relation to their jobs. 1) We have to consider the priority of their jobs. 2) They need to have continuous training and support in relation to their jobs. 3) It is required to establish a career development program for teachers in fishing and agrarian communities.
