이 연구는 광복 이후 지금까지 이루어진 교육정책 연구들을 수집하여 정책연구자료 DB를 구축하고, 이를 토대로 우리나라 교육정책연구의 동향을 분석하기 위해 수행되었다. 이에 따라 이 연구에서는 지난 50여 년간 이루어진 총 3,654건의 교육정책 관련 문헌과 연구들을 수집하여 자료의 제목, 저자, 출판사, 출판 연도, 자료 유형, 분량과 함께 연구의 목적, 내용, 방법, 결과 등을 확인하여 DB화하였으며, 이를 토대로 연도별, 영역별, 주제별 연구동향과 특징을 분석하였다. 자료는 교육정책연구를 수행하는 교육인적자원부, 정부출연 연구기관, 교직단체, 교육 관련 학회와 협의회, 대학부설연구소 등에서 수집하였고, 보다 광범한 자료 수집을 위해 국회도서관, 중앙도서관, 대학도서관 등을 활용하기도 하였다. 연구결과, 우리나라 교육정책 연구는 시대별로는 1990년대, 영역별로는 교원교육에 집중되어 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 구체적으로 보면, 1960년대에는 고등교육, 1970년대에는 교원교육과 중등교육, 1980년대에는 교원교육과 고등교육, 1990년대에는 교원교육과 평생직업교육, 그리고 2000년대에는 중등교육과 평생직업교육에 대한 연구물이 많았다. 이러한 연구 추세는 교육에 대한 시대적사회적 요구와 국가적 차원의 교육개혁 추세와 특징을 반영하고 있었다.
This study aims to establish Database on policy studies and analyze trends of our educational policy studies for the last 50 Years in Korea. In detail, this study has changed a total of 3,654 data(documents and references) associated with educational policies into a database according to their purposes, contents, methods, and results as well as titles, authors, publishers, years, types, and volumes, and analyzed trends and features of respective studies in terms of year, division, and subject. We collected these data from MOE, research institutes, educational NGOs, related academies and associations, National Assembly Library, and National Library of Korea, etc.. As the result of study, we found that the studies concentrated on 1990s and teacher education. In detail, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s saw more studies for higher education, teacher education and secondary education, teacher education and higher education, and teacher education and life-long education, respectively. In particular, 2000s has seen more studies about secondary education and life-long educations. This trend represents social needs for education and features of educational reforms.
