This study aims to establish Database on policy studies and analyze trends of our educational policy studies for the last 50 Years in Korea. In detail, this study has changed a total of 3,654 data(documents and references) associated with educational policies into a database according to their purposes, contents, methods, and results as well as titles, authors, publishers, years, types, and volumes, and analyzed trends and features of respective studies in terms of year, division, and subject. We collected these data from MOE, research institutes, educational NGOs, related academies and associations, National Assembly Library, and National Library of Korea, etc.. As the result of study, we found that the studies concentrated on 1990s and teacher education. In detail, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s saw more studies for higher education, teacher education and secondary education, teacher education and higher education, and teacher education and life-long education, respectively. In particular, 2000s has seen more studies about secondary education and life-long educations. This trend represents social needs for education and features of educational reforms.
