The purpose of this study was to eliminate teachers\' and children\'s fear for reverse-up exercise of horizontal bar, and to make them tdo easily reverse-up exercise of horizontal bar. The method of sampling was random sampling, and the subjects were composed of 168 students in S elementary school in Taegu. The students were divided into 4 grops. Among mattress exercises given lots of opportunity of exercise and pre- experience in school, A learning group did hand standing exercise, B learning group, forward-roll exervise, and C learning exercise, backward-roll exercise and D learning group was control group. For two each group do each exercise 3 hours a week in physical lesson. After two weeks, I examined the extend of the transfer of motor leaning, which is a term meaning the contribution of each exercise to kinesthensia ability. Here kinesthesia ability was required to the advance and achievement of skill of reverse-up exercise of horizontal bar.
The conclusions and the discussion derived from the results were as follows;
First, it was said that backward-roll exercise affected the transfer ability of motor learning.
Second, it was said that experimental groups\' lessons affected the achievement of learning.
According to sex, backward-roll exercise affected male students more signiicantly, and hand standing affected female students more significantly.
Third, it was said that muscular strength little affected the advance and achievement of skill of reverse-up exercise of horizontal bar.
Fourth, the results or the advance and achievement of skill of reverse-up exercise of horizontal bar were as follows.
(1) male students: in the aspect of the advance and achievement of skill, backward -roll exercise and forward-roll exercise had high transfer ability of motor learning.
(2)female students: in the aspect of the advance and achievement of skill, hand standing exercise and forward-roll exercise had high transfer ability of motor learning. But there was little transfer ability of motor learning because remale students had no difference in results between experimental group and control group.
(3) Whole group: in the aspect of the advance and achievement of skill, backward-roll exercise and forward-roll exercise had high transfer ability of motor learning .
