The study investigated recognition of kindergarten teacher about problematic behavior of infants, play
therapy, and play therapy education with kindergarten teachers. First, for recognition of kindergarten teacher
about problematic behavior of early childhood, it was found that most of kindergarten teachers have ever
met difficult 2~ 3 infants in caring in a class, such infant's problematic behavior type were aggressive and
distracted behaviors and cannot interact with peers. Next, for recognition of kindergarten teacher about play
therapy, most of teachers knew through lecture in college or people around them that there is play therapy
that can help difficult early childhood in caring. Most of teachers recognized effect of paly therapy in treating
problematic behavior of early childhood. Fields which can be helped through play therapy were self-control
and development of initiative followed by development of sociality, reduction of negative experience and
emotion. Finally, 96.2% of all the respondents recognized that professional education is necessary in
conducting play therapy. Through such results, it was identified that to solve maladjustment and problematic
behavior in development of early childhood, educational program for play therapy for teachers is necessary.
