The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among child care-efficacy, creative
personality, and professional recognition. The participants of this study were 245 child care teachers in
Busan metropolitan city and Gyeongsangnam-do. They completed the survey questionnaire composed of
child care-efficacy scale, creative personality scale, and professional recognition scale. The collected data
were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Cronbach’s alpha, Person’s correlations, and multiple regressions.
The results were as follows: First, there were significant relations among the child care-efficacy, the
creative personality, and the professional recognition. Second, the child care-efficacy and the creative
personality affected the professional recognition of child care teachers. From the findings, it can be
suggested that child care-efficacy and creative personality are critical variables to improve professional
recognition among child care teachers.
