본 연구는 질문활동과 칭찬활동이 유아의 주의집중에 미치는 효과를 분석하는데 목적을 두고 곽소 영(1998)이 제작한 주의집중 도구를 사용하여, 만 5세 유아 69명을 대상으로 실험하였다. 본 연구에서 나타난 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 질문활동과 칭찬활동은 유아의 주의집중 향상에 도움을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 주의집 중의 하위요인별로 보면 질문활동은 시각적 주의집중에 효과적이었고, 칭찬활동은 청각적 주의집중과 지속적 주의집중에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 질문활동과 칭찬활동은 성별과 관계없이 주의집중 전체 향상에 도움을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 주의집중의 하위요인별로 보면 질문활동은 성별과 관계없이 시각적 주의집중의 향상에 효과가 있었고, 칭찬활동은 성별과 관계없이 청각적 주의집중과 지속적 주의집중 향상에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다
The purpose of this study is analyze the effects of questioning activity and praise activity on young children's attention. For achievement of the purpose, 69 young children of five years old is selected. The main results are as follows; The first, questioning activity and praise activity are effective on young children's attention. The effect of questioning activity and praise activity on young children's attention is similar, but questioning activity is effective on young children's visual attention, praise activity is effective on young children's auditory and continuous attention. Second, there are no difference in the effects of questioning activity and praise activity on young children's attention according to gender. There are no difference in the effects of questioning activity on young children's visual attention according to gender and there are no difference in the effects of praise activity on young children's auditory and continuous attention according to gender.
