사회복지분야에서의 인권교육모델 개발 - 미국 사회복지대학원 교과과정 분석을 중심으로 -

본 연구는 한국사회복지 인권교육의 발전방향을 제시하고자 미국 사회복지교육협의 회(CSWE)의 인가를 받은 대학원 교과과정을 분석하여 인권교육모델을 제시한 연구이 다. 전체 243개 학교 중에서 홈페이지에 교과과정이 구체적으로 제시된 135개교의 인권 교육내용을 분석한 결과 52개교에서 인권과 관련한 교육을 제공하고 있었으며 이러한 교육은 단일주제교육방식과 혼합교육방식으로 구분되었다. 연구진은 교안내용을 분석하 고 인권교육에 필요한 주요주제를 도출하여 인권교육모델을 제시하였다. 인권교육모델 은 4단계로 이루어져 있으며 인권관련 지식세우기, 민감성세우기, 분석하기, 적용하기의 단계로 이루어진다. 여기에 도출된 모델은 단일주제교육방식과 혼합교육방식에 모두 적 용 가능하다. 특히 한국의 교육현장에서 적용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

영문초록

The study explored the curriculums of 243 social work graduate schools accredited by the CSWE. Among those schools, 135 schools which listed the program curriculums on the school websites were included in the study. Program descriptions and available syllabus of 135 schools were analyzed. 52 schools provided the human rights related courses and the courses were categorized into two main groups: single-subject approach and infused approach. This study also analyzed the syllabus and developed the human rights education models which consisted of 4 steps:　knowledge building, sensitivity building, analysis, and application. Human rights education model is applicable to both Single-Subject Approach and Infused Approach courses. More importantly, it suggested the direction of human rights education in Korea.
