이 글은 가정이라는 생활공간을 교육공간, 메타교육의 공간으로 재인식하고 그 공간 내에서 메타교육이 실천될 수 있는 활동을 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 그동안 교육학의 정체성 혼미로 인하여 가정에서 가능한 교육활동을 제대로 포착하지 못했으며 교육이 아닌 가족들간의 활동을 오히려 교육으로 부각시키는 오류를 범해 왔다. 이 연구는 이러한 문제의식에서 출발하여 가정교육을 교육본위론적 관점에서 재개념화 하였으며 가정에서의 메타교육 실천 가능성을 탐색하였다. 동시에 가정에서 메타교육을 실천하는 데 필요한 메타교육 활동소를 교육의 구조 속에서 제시하였으며 이러한 활동소들이 가족들간의 관계 속에서 어떻게 실현될 수 있는지도 제시하였다.
The purpose of this study was to renew understanding of the home, its living space as an education space, that is, meta-educational space. The study consisted of the investigation of the activities performed with the use of meta-education in the home. In spite of the education carried out in the home, there is little known of this subject. Therefore, we cannot predict such activities as educational behavior. In addition, there were activities, which were mistakenly believed to be educational in nature but were not. This study examined the possibility that meta-education, with the help of a critical mind, could be practiced in the home. At the same time, materials should be found in order to help carry out meta-education in the home, and suggestions will be given which will show how these activities should be performed in accordance with family relationships. As children grow, the bulk of their lives are spent in the home. Here, they develop trusting relationships. There are rules that are learned as well. For this reason, the possibility of education is high and quick. The home is the first educational environment, that is, it is the space where people learn in ascending and descending manners from one educational tool. Above all, home is a more meaningful environment where descending education can be ascending and descending. This study searched for the required activities, which would make, keep, and develop the meta-educational relationship in the family, as an educational structure. Similar to the education field which is divided into 2 groups: an ascending education and a descending education, educational activities are also divided into 2 groups: ascending activities and descending activities. These should be performed as a whole for the two fields follow each other very closely. This study will examine the potential of the unlimited educational possibilities in the home and develop the view of reflection of the modern home education. In addition, this study will supply detailed educational activities, which will help change family relationships. These changes will develop as the educational relationship grows and strengthens.
