The research attempted to establish what Korean has been style of multicultural acceptability, divide it into two style as type of assimilation and multiculturalism, and to make suggestions for multicultural policy and multicultural education based on this results. The result of this study is as follows. First, this research saw that the twenties and forties has a considerable amount of multiculturalism, and thirties and people over 50 has a more of assimilation. And more educ ational level than a junior college graduation has a considerable amount of multiculturalism, lower educational level than high school graduation has a more of assimilation. Second, increases with age, increases with satisfaction about korea’s political system, and decreases with friendly attitude about immigrants more likely to belonged to type of assimilation. And decreases with age, decreases with satisfaction about korea’s political system, and increases with friendly attitude about immigrants more likely to belonged to type of multiculturalism. Thus, I have a suggestion that multiculture education includes contents for better a friendly attitude about immigrants, for people in the older age group and in lower educational level.
