이 연구는 직업재활서비스 과정에서 취업정신장애인의 직업재활 역량강화 실천이 직업재활성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 직업재활성과와 관련하여 파악하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이때 직업재활 역량강화의 실천요소는 실천가와 이용자의 협력관계, 정보에 근거한 선택, 자기결정으로, 직업재활성과의 지표는 질적인 측면인 직무만족과 객관적 측면인 직업유지기간으로 측정하였다. 본 연구의 대상자는 총 141명으로 DSM-IV에 의해 정신분열병으로 진단된 만성정신장애인으로 서울과 경기지역의 사회복귀시설 18개소에서 조사가 이루어졌다. 연구결과, 첫째, 취업정신장애인의 직무만족에 영향을 미치는 역량강화 실천요소는 실천가와 이용자의 협력관계와 자기결정으로 나타났으며, 둘째, 직업유지기간에는 정보에 근거한 선택과 자기결정이 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 이 연구는 앞으로 정신장애인의 직업재활에서 역량강화실천의 관점이 중요한 역할을 하고 있음을 실증적으로 보여주고 있어 중요한 시사점을 제시하고 있다.
The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of vocational rehabilitation empowerment practice perceived by employed with mental illness on the vocational rehabilitation outcome. The scale for vocational rehabilitation outcome was consisted of two variable; the job satisfaction in terms of indirect and subject aspect and the duration of job maintenance in termss of direct and objective aspect. The subjects were a total of 141 patients with chronic mental disorder diagnosed as schizophrenia by DSM-IV and were from 18 facilities for social rehabilitations. The results are as follows: First, the variable of empowerment practice influencing the duration of job satisfaction of employed with mental illness was showed to be based on the cooperative relationship and the making-decision of them. Second, The duration of job maintenance was showed to be influenced by information selection and the making-decision of them. This study, therefore, has important implication by showing that the perspective of empowerment practice has played important role in vocational rehabilitation of patients with mental disorder.
