본 연구는 여성장애인의 모성 경험 특성을 파악하고 이들의 출산력에 영향을 미치는 요인이 무엇인지를 파악하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 전국에 거주하는 만 19에서 49세까지의 가임기 여성장애인 355명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하여 빈도분석, 기술분석, 분산분석, 회귀분석을 실시하였다1). 빈도 및 기술분석과 분산분석을 통해 여성장애인의 일반적 특성과 모성경험 특성을 파악하였다. 육아 관련 동작에 있어서의 어려움, 임신 출산 양육 관련한 인식, 사회복지서비스에 대한 인지정도나 이용경험, 만족도 수준에 대해 파악하였고, 장애유형별 차이를 제시하였다. 다중회 귀분석을 통해 여성장애인의 출산력에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명한 결과, 나이, 장애등급, 월평균수입, 혼인나이, 임 출 육 서비스 경험여부, 만족도, 경제활동 여부 등이 출산력에 영향을 미치는 요인인 것으로 분석되었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 여성장애인의 모성 활동을 긍정적으로 지원하고 이들의 출산율을 높일 수 있는 방안에 대해 검토하였다.
This study aims at exploring the characteristics of motherhood experience and affecting factors on fertility of women with disability. The data has been collected from the 355 cases of women with disability aging from 19 to 49 across the nation, then the data has been analysed through frequency analysis, descriptive analysis, ANOVA and regression analysis. A number of important characteristics has been described in terms of the demographic and motherhood experience such as difficulty levels of activities for child care, perceptions of pregnancy, delivery, and child rearing, social service awareness level, use experience and satisfaction level of the services. Some of the significantly different results among the types of disability have been presented. Through the regression analysis, it has been found that age, severity of disability, monthly income, age at marriage, use experience and satisfaction level of social service and paid job employment status. A number of suggestions has been mentioned to support to make the motherhood experience positive and to increase the rate of fertility of women with disability.
