본 연구의 목적은 자연물을 활용한 교육활동이 유아의 창의성에 효과가 있는지를 밝히는데 있다. 연구 대상은 대전광역시에 소재한 만5세 유아 49명이다. 이들을 실험집단과 통제집단으로 나누어 실험집단의 25명 유아에게는 주 1-2회 11주간 총 21회의 자연물을 활용한 교육활동에 참여시켰다. 유아의 창의성을 측정하기 위해서 창의적 사고와 창의적 인성검사를 사용하였고, 자료분석은 공변량분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 자연물을 활용한 교육활동은 유아의 창의성에 긍정적인 효과가 있음이 밝혀졌다. 이러한 연구결과는 자연물을 활용한 교육활동이 유아의 창의성을 향상시키는 교육프로그램으로 활용 가능함을 시사한다.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the activity through natural materials on young children\'s creativity. The subjects of this study were 49 five year old children(experimental group 25 and control group 24) attending two elementary school annexed kindergarten which is located in Daejeon. To obtain the data, Torrance of Creative Thinking and creative personality test Younghee Noh(2006) Attitudes Inventory were used. To analyze data, ANCOVA were executed. The result of this study were as follow: When activity through natural materials was applied, there were significant differences in the degree of creativity in the experimental group.
