이 논문은 초등학교 국어 학습 부진아를 위한 효율적인 통합 교육 방안을 모색하는 데 목적을 둔다. 이를 위해 먼저 국어 학습 부진의 개념과 특성을 탐구하고, 초등 국어과 교수․학습 지향점을 바탕으로 통합 교육 내에서 국어 수업의 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 초등학교에서 국어 학습 부진은 그 문제로만 끝나지 않고 다른 교과 학습이나 일상생활에도 부진을 초래한다. 따라서 국어 학습의 중요성에 대하여 아무리 강조해도 지나치지 않다. 국어과는 타 교과와의 위상에서도 드러나듯이, 제일 먼저 제시되는 교과인데, 이러한 위상은 다름 아닌 기초 도구교과(道具敎科)라는 특성 때문이다. 국어 학습 부진의 재개념화를 토대로 기초학습 부진과 기본학습 부진으로 유형화하였다. 그리고 초등 국어 교수․학습의 특성을 목표 중심, 학습자 중심, 과정 중심, 사회적 상호작용 중심으로 제시하였다. 그리고 통합 교육 내 국어 수업의 방향으로 개인 내 사고의 협동 학습, 개인 간 사고의 협동 학습, 점진적 책임 이양의 인지적 도제 학습, 국어에 대한 동기, 흥미, 태도 갖기, 통합적인 학습 활동의 다섯 가지 방안을 제시하였다.
This study focuses on the methods of the korean language in inclusive education. For this purpose, I explore the concept and traits of the underachiever learning in korean language education and try to present the direction of the korean language instruction in inclusive education. Underachiever learning of the korean language education in elementary school is not only a problem itself but also it can become an obstacle at learning other subject or managing ordinary life. Therefore we cannot over emphasize the importance of korean language education. Korean language education can be more easily classified as important subject comparing with the other subject by its instrumental trait. By the ground of the reconceptualism of the underachiever learning in Korean language instruction, we materialized the types as foundational underachiever learning and basic underachiever learning. And we present the traits of the Korean language education as the goal centered, student centered, process centered, and the social interaction centered. And as the direction of the korean language education in inclusive education, I purpose 5 methods. 1. Cooperation instruction of thinking in the individuals. 2. Cooperation instruction of thinking between the individuals. 3. Cognitive apprentice instruction of the gradual responsibility transfer. 4. Strengthen the motive, interest. attitude of the korean language instruction. 5. Inclusive learning activity.
