General children's attitudes toward disabled people is a key factor for the success of integrative education. Despite the fact that there have been many efforts for general children's attitude change, it is revealed that the efforts are useless without a fundamental paradigm change. The present study explores the general children's attitude change toward disabled people depending whether or not to be provided with a different illustration based on the perspectives of disabled people and a labeling. A total of 256 elementary students participated in this study. The researcher divided the students into four groups depending on the two variables and surveyed them with four questionnaires about attitudes toward disabled people. The findings of this study demonstrate that there is a significant effect about the two variables. General children showed a positive attitude when they were provided with a labeling as a physical disabled child and an illustration that depicts him in a positive and confident way. The researcher suggests that publishers and media consider the findings of this study when they publish books or release articles.
