This study explored the concept of art educations for the gifted children as the best interests of the child. Gifted children in the field of art are considered to children having talents in arts and music. Regarding this, family, society and country have to help gifted children grow and mature their talents, and in the view of the quality of gifted children's life, their happiness is also important. In Korea, the policies on art educations for the Gifted are now increasing greatly, so in this study contemporary educational settings and supports were described. In the field of art education, two dimensions of 'interests' were connected with matters of children's desires, parents' needs and values. Korean national supports is now given to the schools, colleges and universities, and the right of the gifted and talented children should be authorized and teaching situations for the best interests of the gifted and talented must be monitored. In designing the organization for the support art education, the best interest of the talented children should be considered.
