"This study is to inquire into the satisfaction degree in school life and the reaction characteristics of KSD according to a general elementary school, its branch school and background variations such as sex distinction, school grades, school type. The study subject is 238 school children in 3th․4th․5th․6th grade, who attend in 1 elementary school, and 6 branch schools in Jeju city. For them, the questionnaire method is carried out. Among the whole questionnaires returned by the children, except of 7 questionnaires which are not filled in fully, 231 questionnaires are analyzed. The research work is carried out from April 23, 2009 to May 22, 2009. One researcher who is in Ph.D. course of Department of Art Therapy carries out questionnaire method on satisfaction degree in school life and KSD test. The data materials are analyzed by SPSS(ver 14.0 for Windows). And by the program t-test and ANOVA are carried out, and Scheffé test is carried out as a post-hoc analysis. The results are as follows. The satisfaction degree perceived by school children of general elementary school and branch school is more than the average level. Secondly, 'School·Class surroundings', 'Study activity', 'School·Class events', 'Relationship with teachers', 'Satisfaction degree in school life' of girl students are higher than those of boy students. Thirdly, in case of reaction characteristics of KSD, boy students have more aggression, interest on sexual matters, school problems than girl students. And Support/Acceptance of girl students is higher than that of boy students. Fourthly, the higher school·class surroundings, relationship with teachers, satisfaction degree in school life are, the lower the interest on sexual matters is. This study gives a suggestion that KSD is a device to diagnose satisfaction degree in school life.
