독거노인의 삶의 질 향상을 위한 정책방안 연구 결과 독거노인들의 소득보장을 위하여 보편적 연금제도를 강화하고 노년기 장애예방 프로그램을 통한 의료서비스를 확대하여야 할 것이다. 또한 독거노인복지정보 안내센터 운영, 노인여가활동 실비지원체제 구축과 노인공동작업장을 설치하여 노인 일자리를 창출하여야 할 것이다. 노인복지서비스정보의 통합관리와 복지시설 간 네트워크를 구축하여 독거노인복지서비스의 중복 제공에 따른 문제점 등을 해소함으로써 독거노인의 삶의 질 향상에 기여 할 수 있다고 확신하며, 노인복지법의 보완을 통한 제도적 뒷받침이 수반되어야할 것으로 분석되었다.
"In the result of the study for improvement of quality of life of elder citizen who live alone, it seems necessary to enforce general pension system for income security and enlarge medical services through program to prevent disables for the aged people. There are also need for operation of in-bound call center to provide welfare information with senior living alone and building of recreation system offered at cost as well as job creation through installation of collaborate working places for the aged people in addition to the above measures. It is analyzed that synthetic management of welfare information service for the aged people and building of network straddled entire welfare organs can settle the problems like benefits overlapped or omitted in part to better the quality of life of elder people who live alone and the institutional backups through supplement of [Welfare of the Aged Act] shall be accompanied too.
