본 연구의 목적은 중국 유학생의 대학생활 적응을 돕기 위한 튜터링 프로그램 모형을 개발하고자 함이다. 중국 유학생의 대학생활과 관련된 선행연구와 튜터링과 관련된 선행연구 분석을 바탕으로 튜터링 프로그램 모형의 목적, 전략, 운영전략 요소를 제시하였다. 제시된 모형의 목적은 생활적응과 학업성취였으며, 생활적응 측면은 한국과 중국 문화 이해하기, 상호신뢰와 존중 분위기 조성하기, 대인관계 능력 및 자아존중감 향상으로 구분하였다. 학업성취 측면은 튜터에게는 전공지식에 대한 이해도 향상, 자기주도적능력 향상으로 구분하였고, 튜티에게는 전공에 대한 학습동기 부여, 통합적사고 능력 향상으로 구분하였다. 운영전략으로는 전담부서제 운영, 지도교수제 운영, 튜터의 역할, 튜티의 역할, 튜터링 교육을 제시하였다.
The purpose of this study was to develop the tutoring program model on Chinese students’ adaptation to Korean college life. This study proposed following composition of tutoring program: purpose, strategy, and implementation strategy. It was result of analysis based on the study of Chinese students’ college life in Korea and the study of tutoring. The designed model was for helping Chinese students’ adaptation to life and improving their academic achievement. The elements of adaptation were comprehension to the cultural difference between two countries, creation to environment mutual confidence and honor, improvement to interpersonal relationship and self-efficacy. The element of achievement was distinguished between learner and tutor. Aspect of learner was enhancement of understanding to major content, and other aspect was motivation to major satisfaction, enhancement to integrated thinking ability. This study suggested that the implementation strategies such as management of Chinese student department and tutor, education to effective tutoring.
