The purpose of the study is to evaluate changes in practitioners who are providing strength-based care management services for women and their families subjected to poverty and other vulnerable situations. Samples of 19 care managers participated in pre-posttest design survey with a structured questionnaire at six-month interval, and descriptive statistics and analysis of variance(t-test) were executed to answer research questions proposed by the study. Analyses revealed that care managers showed significant and positive improvement in most of areas(i.e., job performance, competency, perspective on poverty, knowledge of strength-based practice principles, competency, and self-esteem) that were assessed at post-test. Authors also discussed importance of on-going supervision and continuing education for practitioner, and suggested a longitudinal follow-up study that complement and consolidate the findings of this study.
