This is the qualitative study to examine on the developmental process of youth leaders's expertise. Especially it is focused on the effect of overcoming experience of frustration in the process. To analyze this experience, this study conduct the interview of five youth leaders with over 10-year experience of the field. The factors of frustration of youth leaders are economic difficulties, problems of human relationship in the field group and expert knowledge of the job. Although these experience of frustration, they continued to execute the activities as a the youth leader with the motives like human relationship and passion of the work. Also, these experience of overcoming frustration affected to the professional development and those are embodied with re-motivation after overcoming frustration, support within the relationship and setting a goal. Above all, this study shows that passion of the work is the key factor of the overcoming frustration in the process of professional development. Based on this passion, participants felt interest and fruitful of the work and got over the difficulties like economic hardship, realities of the field, troubles of the human relationship
