The purpose of this study was to examine an effect of instruction consulting on the instructional competence of the elementary pre-service teachers. The subjects of this study were 100 elementary pre-service teachers, and instruction consulting program was used for them. In addition, the effect was tested through mean difference test between pre-test and post-test of instructional competence evaluation scale. The results showed all positive changes of the subjects' perception in the performance and the importance of instructional competence. Thus, instruction consulting was regarded as one of the methods for increasing the instructional competence of elementary pre-service teachers.
