This study has been progressed to investigate how teachers\' experience and
their interaction in teacher\'s learning community lead to teacher leadership
development. Grounded Theory Method suggested by Sarauss and Corbin was
applied as study methodology.
An object of this study was targeted to teacher\'s learning community called
\'Gyocom(Teacher Community)\' and the study participants consist of seven
teachers involving in \'Gyocom\'. Data collecting had been conducting by in-depth
interviewing, participant observation and various papers from in March, 2009
through in January, 2010.
This study has resulted in discovering 114 concepts, 42 subcategories and 17
categories. The result of analyzing paradigm in axial coding is that major
phenomenon is \'desire for communicaton\'. In selective coding, \'leadership
developing through communication\' gets shown as a core category. Teacher
leadership development was categorized into three types: \'leader teacher type\',
\'on-line participant type\', and off-line communicator type\'.
And meaning of teacher leadership developing process was interpreted as
follows. It was certain that teachers joining in study are communicating one
another through on-line or off-line by joining spontaneously in teachers\'
learning community out of school, \'Gyocom\' to find their way out the stifling
atmosphere resulted from communication absence in school, and that they are
developing teacher identity, class specialty and teacher leadership by learning
constantly and reflecting on themselves.
