이 연구는 예비유아특수교사가 장애유아통합유치원에서 교육실습 경험을 이해하고 그 경험에 영향을 미치는 관련 변인을 이해하기 위해 수행한 질적 연구이다. 연구 대상은 충청남도에 위치한 대학의 예비유아특수교사 8명이다. 예비유아특수교사들의 장애통합유치원에서 4주간 교육실습 경험을 심층면담, 일기를 통해 살펴보고 이를 전사하여 Strauss와 Corbin(1990)의 근거이론으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과 예비유아특수교사들은 통합교육환경에서 교육실습을 경험하면서 유아특수교사로서의 역할 갈등과 정체성혼란을 경험하였다. 이러한 현상을 해결하기 위하여 적극적으로 유아특수교사로서의 전문성을 형성하고 친밀감을 형성하려는 전략을 사용하였으며 성공한 예비교사들은 유아특수교사로서의 정체성을 형성하였다. 그러나 전문성 형성과 친밀감 형성에 실패한 교사들은 유아특수교사가 아닌 다른 직업으로 이탈하려는 태도를 나타냈다.
This research focuses on a qualitatively in-depth study experiences of early childhood special education teacher candidates during the practicum. For this 8 early childhood special education teacher candidates of inclusive setting kindergar tens. And the researcher had in-depth interviews. This Study is based on the ground theory method of Strauss and Corbin(1990). The results obtained in this study were as follows: All of them felt role conflict and identity confusion. However, their attitude was divide. First group, they felt role conflict and identity confusion but they effort making a profession and friendly with kindergarten's staff. So they make the good identity early childhood special education teacher. But another group lose out making profession and friendly with kindergarten's staff. So they are give up a early childhood special education teacher.
