The purpose of this study was to find ways to promote healthy child growth and to increase parental attachment, through analytical research on the effects of parental attachment on the development of children by developmental domains, focusing on parental attachment and child development, To do this, the existing articles published in domestic journals for the last 5 years (2014 ~ 2018) were selected and analyzed through the literature review method. The results are summarized as follows: First, the effects of parental attachment on children’s cognitive development showed that parental attachment affects their children s academic expectations, learning commitment, achievement goal orientation, and cognitive flexibility. Second, the findings on the effect of parental attachment on children s self-development showed that parental attachment affected children s self-esteem, self-identity, self-efficacy, and ego resilience. Third, the results on the effect of parental attachment on children s emotional development showed that parental attachment affects children s life satisfaction, psychological well-being, and stress. Fourth, as a result of examining the effects of parental attachment on the development of children s sociality, it was found that parental attachment affects children s prosocial behavior, friendship network, peer relationship, teacher attachmen and school life adaptation, Fifth, the effects of parental attachment on children s problem behaviors were found to affect school violence, peer bullying, smartphone addiction, adult app use, and SNS addiction tendency.
