The museum education of today, which has went beyond the bounds of general education, is now at a critical juncture of transforming itself from quantitative expansion to quality assessment. Education evaluation is a vital process to this end. Education evaluation is carried out not only to identify the level of leaner’s educational achievement, but also for pragmatic goals such as curriculum evaluation and improvement and decision making as regards of education policies. In addition, museums can demonstrate their roles as an educational institution and seek ways to enhance the quality of education. This study demonstrated the need for museum education evaluation through the observation of the relation between education evaluation results derived from the museum field and learner satisfaction. The results of this study demonstrate that there is a strong relation between the results of education evaluation and learner satisfaction survey, and that the better evaluation results are, the higher learner satisfaction is. This means that education evaluation plays the role of screening educational programs that can be recognized as good education. The results also show that, through relevant feedback on the evaluation results, education evaluation can contribute to the quality improvement of education.
