The primary goal of this study was to investigate factors affecting job satisfaction of wage workers with physical disabilities by applying of self-determination theory. We conducted the structural equation model analysis on the data from 1st survey of 2nd wave in the Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled(2016). The final sample consisted of 1,010 wage workers with physical disabilities. Main results are as follows. First, discrimination experience at work as external motivation were directly related to job satisfaction of wage workers with physical disabilities as well as interpersonal relations as the first factor of internal motivation. Second, interpersonal relations, participation in social activities, self-efficacy as three main components of internal motivation directly affect on job satisfaction of wage workers with physical disabilities. Third, all the components of internal motivation had a series of causality(interpersonal relations→participation in social activities→self-efficacy). Based on these findings, implications for policy and interventions were discussed in regards to job satisfaction of wage workers with physical disabilities.
