본 연구는 음악 문해력 관점으로 음악 지도서의 활동을 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 음악 문해력 향상을 위한 수업을 설계할 수 있는 기초자료가 되는데 목적이 있다. 이에 음악 문해력 관련 논의들을 고찰하고 음악 문해력을 목적으로 하는 교육과정을 살펴본 후 초등 3학년 제재곡 을 음악 요소와 개념별로 범주화하여 음악 지도서 활동 내용에 적용된 기능들을 분석하였다. 그 결과 음악 교과 교육의 탐구과정 및 사고 과정인 기능은 음악적 활동이 풍부한 수업 속에서 학생들의 음악적 이해를 돕고 있었다. 따라서 학생들의 음악 문해력 신장을 위해 음악 요소와 개념적 이해는 물론 음악 고유의 사고 능력인 기능이 활동 속에서 역동적으로 작동되어야 한다 는 결론을 얻었다.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the activities presented in the music guide book by from the viewpoint of music literacy and to provide the basic data for teachers to design music classes to improve music literacy. For this study, researches of the music literacy were reviewed, and the curriculum aimed at music literacy was examined. And based on this data, songs from the 3rd grade music textbook were categorized by music element and concept and analyzed the functions applied to the activities from music guide book. As a result, the function, the function of music education’s inquiry and thinking processes was helping students understand music in classes in musical activities. Therefore, it is concluded that to enhance student s abilities of music literacy, not only understanding musical elements and concepts, but also ‘function’ which is music’s unique thinking ability, should operate dynamically in music activities.
