This study aims to verify the effectiveness of improving parents' positive emotions, interpersonal relationships, and resilience by developing a parent coaching program to strengthen parents' competence with adolescent children. This program was designed by analyzing the needs of experts in each field based on the review of literature related to coaching, prior research, and theoretical background. The parent education coaching program for strengthening parents' competencies consisted of 10 sessions. In this study, the SPSS 23.0 program and the descriptive statistics analysis method were used to find out the effect and effect of the parent coaching program on parents' positive emotions, interpersonal relationships, and resilience. T-test verification was conducted to analyze reliability and verify research problems, and the final verification results were verified as follows. First, the parent coaching program showed significant results in the positive emotions of parents with adolescent children, and second, it confirmed significant results in the interpersonal relationship of parents with adolescent children. Third, it was confirmed that the resilience of parents with adolescent children was significant. In future studies, qualitative research needs to be combined to comprehensively confirm its effectiveness, and it is also suggested to verify the causal process of positive emotions, interpersonal relationships, and resilience affecting parenting stress through periodic parent coaching program effectiveness verification.
