This study sought to find out the effect of group art therapy on golfers' anxiety and self-efficacy. The test participants consisted of 15 golfers in total, and they were divided into two groups: a control group with 7 golfers and an experimental group with 8. They were the golfers of A academy located in K city, who had been playing as a golfer for more than one year, with the experience of golf competitions more than two times. Group Art Therapy consisted of twelve sessions, each lasting ninety minutes, conducted once a week from March 24th to June 23rd, 2022. The study utilized CSAI-2, pre- and post-test self-efficacy assessments, and employed SPSS 25.0 for quantitative analysis using Mann-Whitney U and Wilcoxon signed ranks tests. The summary of the results from the study was as follows. First, these indicated significant improvements in cognitive, physical state anxiety and confidence levels. Second, Self-efficacy scores were higher in the post-test compared to the pre-test. Based on the results of these studies, Overall, the group art therapy positively affected golfers' exercise anxiety sub-factors and self-efficacy, suggesting potential benefits for skill enhancement.
