본 연구는 초기 성장기 동안의 방임된 양육으로 인하여 대인관계의 문제와 전반적 발달 지체를 보이는 만 2세 남아의 놀이치료 사례이다. 본 연구는 심리적으로 안정되면서 환경적으로 다양한 자극을 제공하고 신뢰로운 관계형성을 통해 아동의 대인관계 문제를 개선하고 발달을 촉진하는 것을 목표로 하였다. 치료는 총 61 회기의 개별 치료로 진행되었다. 그 결과, 아동은 대인관계의 문제들이 개선되었고, 놀이와 언어 발달면에서 다양한 변화와 발전을 보여주었다.
A play therapy was administrated for a two-years boy who had difficulty in interaction with others and developmental retardation because of nonintervention with bringing up. The purpose of this study was to improve interaction with others, to offer positive effect in development through offering of safe, various stimulus and holding in confidential relationship. It was the case of individual play therapy that was consisted of the 61 sessions. Through play therapy, the child became to improve behavior factors and the development of play, language and speech.
