The development of feminist principles and procedures in counseling stretches from the feminism of the early 70's. Since it shares the same philosophical tenets with feminism, feminist counseling has been regarded as a radical theory in the field of Christian counseling. In order to maximize the growth and well-being of Christian women and find out ways to integrate Christian counseling and feminist counseling, however, Christian counseling is reflected upon in the light of the New Testament by a Christian feminist counselor.
