본 연구의 목적은 20대의 ADHD 성향과 SNS 중독경향성의 관계에서 시간관의 영향을 살펴보고 시간관의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 만 19세에서 29세 청년 250명을 대상으로 자기보고식 설문조사를 실시하였으며, SPSS와 PROCESS Macro를 통해 자료를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 20대의 ADHD 성향과 시간관은 SNS 중독경향성에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며, ADHD 성향과 SNS 중독경향성 간의 관계에서 현재운명 시간관과 균형적 시간관 편차가 부분 매개하는 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 ADHD 성향과 SNS 중독경향성의 관계에서 시간관의 역할을 확인함으로써, 향후 SNS 중독 예방 및 개입 연구에서 시간관을 함께 고려할 수 있는 경험적 근거를 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of time perspective on the relationship between ADHD traits and social networking service addiction tendency among young adults in their twenties, and test the mediating effect of time perspective. A total of 250 participants aged 19 to 29 completed self-report questionnaires, and the data were analyzed using SPSS and PROCESS Macro. The results indicated that ADHD traits and time perspective had significant effects on SNS addiction tendency. Furthermore, present fatalistic time perspective and deviation from balanced time perspective partially mediated the relationship between ADHD traits and SNS addiction tendency. This study is meaningful in that it provides empirical evidence suggesting that time perspective should be considered in future research on the prevention and intervention of SNS addiction by identifying the role of time perspective in the relationship between ADHD traits and SNS addiction tendency.
