본 연구는 B광역시 소재 3개 초등학교 특수학급에 시간제로 입급된 학습장애아동을 대상으로 미술활동프로그램을 2개월 동안 주3회씩 방과 후 특별실에서 소그룹 형태로 실시하였다. 미술활동프로그램이 학습장애아동의 인지처리능력에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 하였으며, K-ABC 사전·사후 검사를 통해 각 하위영역별 척도점수를 대응표본 t검증을 하였다. 그에 따른 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 미술활동프로그램이 학습장애아동의 동시처리인지능력 향상에 효과에 있었다. 둘째, 미술활동프로그램은 학습장애아동의 순차처리인지능력 향상에 효과가 있었다. 따라서 본 연구의 미술활동프로그램은 학습장애아동의 인지처리능력에 효과가 있음을 알 수 있다.
The purpose of this study was to prove the effect of art therapy program on mental processing ability for children with learning disabilities. The two specific purposes were: identifying effect of art therapeutic active program on simultaneous mental processing ability of children with learning disabilities, identifying effect of art therapeutic active program on sequential mental ability of children with learning disabilities. The object of study was fifteen children with learning disabilities who are in the special education classes of D, O and S elementary school in Busan. With K-ABC as method of this study the independent variable is art therapy program and the dependent variables are simultaneous mental processing ability, sequential mental processing ability. The experiment was performed three times every week 40 minutes per session during 2 months. I hope the result of my study can activate further studies as : First, the study of art therapy program experimented on the children with other types of disability. Second, the study of art therapy program experimented on proves that art therapy program have positive effects on two different groups with same disability. Third, the study of art therapy program such as music therapy, play therapy, etc.
