본 연구는 장애학생의 효과적인 통합교육을 위하여 초등학교 장애이해교육이 어떻게 정착되어 가고, 장애이해교육을 제공하는 일반교육교사의 인식 및 요구가 어떻게 변화되 었는지를 알아보기 위해 실시하였다 이를 위해 2008년 G도의 초등학교 일반교사 210명 과 2011년 같은 도의 G초등학교 일반교사 225명을 대상으로, 장애이해교육 실태, 인식 및 요구에 대해 시간차에 따른 비교 연구를 실시하였다. 연구의 내용은 장애이해교육의 실태에서는 장애이해교육 실시 현황, 실시 방법 및 참여 등에 대해 알아보았고, 장애이 해교육의 인식에서는 장애이해교육의 필요성과 어려움 및 지도능력과 만족도 등에 대해 알아보았다. 그리고 장애이해교육의 요구에서는 효과적인 실시 방향, 실시 방법 및 연수 와 개선점 등에 대해 알아보았다. 그리고 이에 기초하여 효과적인 장애이해교육을 위한 시사점을 제시하였다.
The purpose of this study was to know changing pattern of realities, perception and demand on education about understanding disabilities targeting general education teachers i elementary schools according to times. For this study, 210 general education teachers of 2008 and 225 general education teachers of 2011 were employed and researched by questionnaire. The research domain of the study are as follows: The first, regarding the realties of education about understanding disabilities, the research examined the status of conducting education about understanding disabilities, the education method, and the participation in the education. The second, regarding the perception of education about understanding disabilities, its difficulty, teaching competence and satisfaction. The third, regarding the demand for education about understanding disabilities, the research examined an effective education direction, education methods, training and improvement points. Based on these results, the research proposed implications for operating effective education about understanding disabilities in elementary and secondary schools
