The purpose of this study is the effects of human rights education programs on
anti-bias and disability awareness of elementary school students. In order to achieve
these objectives, we chose the following research questions.
First, how have human rights education programs influence the anti-bias of
elementary school students ?
Second, how have human rights education programs influence on disability awareness
of elementary school students ?
The human rights education programs of this study selected the programs of human
rights group and human rights education teachers' meeting . Then, we have done a
comparative analysis in building on contents of the The National Human Rights
Commission. In this study, the data was treated to obtain the mean and standard
deviation as descriptive statistics, and performed ANCOVA to verify the difference of
the effects. The results of this study are as follows.
First, the experimental group that participated in the session of human rights
education was proved to be more effective on enhancing the anti-bias of elementary
school students rather than the control group.
Second, the experimental group that participated in the session of humane rights
education was proved to be more effective on enhancing the disability awareness of
elementary school students rather than the control group.
As mentioned above, having a human rights programs are the effective way
toimprove anti-bias and disability awareness. Therefore, human rights education
programs have to be used by many to educate on virtues and disability awareness.
