본 연구의 목적은 ‘좋아하는 날씨(FKW)’그림 반응특성에 따라 성별과 학년에 따른 학교생활적응 수준에 차 이가 있는지를 알아보고, 학교생활적응 수준을 진단하는 도구로서 FKW의 활용가능성을 검증하는 데 있다. 이 를 위해 경북의 K시에 소재한 남, 여 중학생 569명을 연구대상으로 하였다. 측정도구는 FKW와 학교생활적응 에 관한 검사지를 사용하였고, 자료를 분석하기 위해 t-검증, 일원변량분석, 교차분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성별과 학년에 따른 중학생의 학교생활적응은 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 성별에 따라 학교생활적응이 부분적으로 통계적인 유의미한 차이를 보였고, 학년에 따라 모든 하위변인이 통계 적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 성별과 학년에 따른 중학생의 FKW그림 반응특성은 통계적으로 유의미 한 차이가 있었다. 성별에 따라서는 형식요인, 내용요인, 색상요인이 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 학년 에 따라서는 형식요인, 색상요인이 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 학교생활적응 수준에 따라 FKW 그림의 반응특성은 차이가 있었다. 즉 학교생활적응 수준에 따라 형식요인, 색상요인이 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 이상의 결과에서 FKW는 중학생의 학교생활적응 수준을 진단하는 도구로서 활용가능성이 있음 을 알 수 있다.
This study investigated the relationship between the school adjustment level of middle school students and their Favorite Kind of Weather (FKW) drawings. The participants were 569 female and male middle school students in a city in Gyeongsanbuk-do. The instruments for this study included a questionnaire asking about the participants' school adjustment and the FKW drawing test. Data were analyzed using a t-test, a one-way ANOVA, and cross tabulation. First, significant differences were found in the school adjustment level of the participants by gender and school year. By gender, significant differences were partly found in the school adjustment variable. By school year, significant differences were found in all the subcategories of school adjustment. Second, significant differences were found by gender and school year in the FKW drawings of the participants. By gender, significant differences were found in the formal, substantive, and color factor. By school year, significant differences were found in the formal and color factor. Third, significant differences were found between the school adjustment level and FKW drawings of the participants. That is, by the school adjustment level significant differences were found in the formal and color factor. These findings indicate that the FKW drawing test can be used as a tool to measure the school adjustment level of middle school students.
