The purpose of this study was to illustrate the effects of the Project Approach in producing a
positive attitude change, in elementary school students, regarding the acceptance of disabilities.
Sixty-four regular fourth grade students participated in this study. They were divided into two groups; an experimental group of 32 students, and a control group of 32 students.
The results of this study are as follows. The Project Approach created a positive attitude change in students, regarding the acceptance of disabilities. Therefore this study concludes that the Project Approach is effective in changing elementary school students' attitudes so that they are able accept students with disabilities and differences.
