이 연구의 목적은 공립학교 초등특수교사를 선발하기 위한 임용고사 문항 구성의 문제점을 대학의 특수교육과 교육과정 측면에서 살펴보고, 그에 대한 개선 방안을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위해 현행 임용고사 시험 제도의 1차 객관식 시험문제를 특수교육과 교육과정 개발 및 운영에 근간이 되는 교육과학기술부 교원자격검정 실무편람에 근거하여 분석하였다. 임용고사가 일선 학교에서 근무하는 특수교사를 선발한다는 점에서 학교에서 요구되는 교과지식을 갖추었는지 확인하는 문항이 있어야 하겠지만, 현행 임용고사에서는 장애학생에 대한 지식을 묻는 문항이 상대적으로 적게 편성되어 있어 특수교사를 양성하는 대학의 교육과정과 불일치하는 현상이 발생하고 있다. 이러한 점을 고려할 때, 임용고사에서는 대학의 교육과정의 편성 비율을 고려한 문항 구성을 해야 한다. 이는 특수교사로서 갖추어야 할 보편성과 특수성이라는 두 측면의 조화를 이끌어 낼 수 있는 방법 중 하나이다.
The purpose of this study was to search the problems and to suggest the improvements of special teacher certification examination in respects of the curriculum of the department of special education. To do this, It was analyzed the special teacher certification examination with ordinance of teacher certification. In the result, questions of the subjects in related of special education were fewer than subjects in related of elementary education. If teacher certification manual is standard and the core courses to train special teacher, the component ratio of curriculum of the department of special education have to be reflected in the special teacher certification examination. To do this, We have to reduce or remove to get the questions in the examination to recruit the general elementary teacher. Also, we have to add to the questions about subjects in related of special education.
