The purpose of this study was to search the problems and to suggest the improvements
of special teacher certification examination in respects of the curriculum of the department
of special education. To do this, It was analyzed the special teacher certification
examination with ordinance of teacher certification. In the result, questions of the subjects
in related of special education were fewer than subjects in related of elementary
education. If teacher certification manual is standard and the core courses to train special
teacher, the component ratio of curriculum of the department of special education have to
be reflected in the special teacher certification examination. To do this, We have to
reduce or remove to get the questions in the examination to recruit the general
elementary teacher. Also, we have to add to the questions about subjects in related of
special education.
