The purpose of this study was to investigate needs of teachers for teaching-learning
materials that need to be developed into e-Learning program on transition education for
secondary students with developmental disabilities. For this purpose, total 168 special
educators participated in a nation-wide survey. In results, categories of transition education
that need to be developed into e-Learning program were identified. In addition, the ranking
of needs for developing e-Learning program, the factors affecting successful implementation
of e-Learning, and expected effects of e-Learning program on teachers and students were
analyzed. Finally, several specific implications for the development of e-Learning programs
of transition education in general and special high school settings based on the results were
provided.
