The goal of this study was to find the correlation between Anma Manual Therapy
education needing the work ability to move various hand gestures and several parts
of body, furthermore, this has considered the program to strengthen the work ability
of children who are visually impaired with other disabilities and basic education for
job as the valuable one for use.
Three research questions have been formulated in order to achieve above goal, the
researcher examined the measurement of development by applying each evaluation tool
to be standardized for each relevant area. Formulated research questions and evaluation
tools for each relevant area are the researcher examined the measurement of development
per term and area by conducting physical capacities and mobility screening to find the
fact that Anma Manual Therapy training for children who are visually impaired with
other disabilities improves the physical ability for work, develops agile moving of hand
and neuromuscle related to movement integration, improves productivity and ability of
working process.
Subjects for this study was made up of two children with visual disability followed
MR in school age requesting IRYO education in written document for desire to enter
high school in S the blind school, Seoul. The researcher collected data about drawn
results by conducting job assessment five times during research period. And also, it
is assessed two times more for being followed-ups.
The results about evaluation conducted after Anma Manual Therapy education have
shown increased and follow-ups physical strength evaluation, neuromuscle development
evaluation, Purdue Pegboard for job assessment.
Therefore, Anma Manual Therapy training is significantly related to the improvement
of physical strength, neuromuscle development, improvement of working process of
children with visual handicap followed MR.
Finally, five alternatives to find several problem and solve them have been presented
in this study.
