Complementary and alternative medicine has become increasingly popular in the South Korea during the last 5-10 years. The use is most oral and topical supplements which are based on or include several botanical ingredients. One of known botanical ingredients is Aroma essential oils which has long histories of traditional or folk medicine usage. The purpose of our review is to validate the clinically applicable possibility of Aroma essential oil based on the chemical composition and relaxation effect of acne. Aroma essential oil is antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral efficacy, such as bacteria, and is a significant improvement in the acne. Specifically, teatree essential oil is anti-bacteria, antiviral, antifungal, suggesting a significant improvement in the acne. Lavender essential oil is a pain relief, anti-bacteria, antiviral, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and skin regeneration effect showed good results in the treatment of acne.
