Purpose: The study was to investigate the relationship between life stress and depression in nursing. Methods: The subjects of this study were 290 nursing college students. The data collected from structures questionnaire, and were collected from December in 2011. SPSS/WIN 18.0 program was used to analyze the data with descriptive statics, t-test and ANOVA. Results: The result summarized as follow; The mean score for life stress experience was 0.90, life stress importance was 1.40, depression was 1.10. The relationship between life stress and depression revealed a positive significant correlation. Conclusion: The implications of this study included that life stress control program, life stress reducing program, should be developed and to precaution life stress, depression in nursing college students
