The purpose of this study was to analyze the causal relationships among college students' self-leadership, academic self-concept, non-academic self-concept, career identity, and career maturity, The sample(N=484) was drawn from 3 universities and the collected data were analyzed with SPSS 18.0 using t-test, Pearson correlation, multiple regression analysis, and path analysis. Findings of the regression analysis demonstrated the existence of a positive relationship of self leadership, academic self-concept, non-academic self-concept with career identity. In the second regression analysis in which career maturity was used as a dependent variable, self leadership was the best predictor of the dependent variable while other variables such as academic self-concept and career identity also played significant roles in predicting it. However, non-academic self-concept was not statistically significant in this study, The final analysis of this study culminated in the test of the path model proved the path from self-leadership, academic self-concept, and career identity to career maturity was statistically significant. An important finding in this causal analysis is the effect of self leadership. The mediating variable of career identity also affected career maturity directly. Results demonstrated the importance of examining career-related variables such as career identity, career maturity and career decision making efficacy in the context of individual and environmental aspects.
