The social concern about “Baby Boom Generation" in Korea, those who were born in between 1955 and 1963, is greatly being built up, in company with their retirement. Baby Boom Generation accounting for 14.6% of the total population in Korea has faced or is facing the time when they should retire from their jobs. The social cost paid for the generation in Korea is increasing and the counterplans to solve the current problems caused by them are carried out, but they have been ineffective yet. In this research, we watched the educational background of Baby Boom Generation and the changes that they experience after the government carrying out the counterplans for them. After that, the economy education for Baby Boom Generation as a lifelong education will be proposed. This research shows that, the economy education is being limitedly given as a lifelong education to those who are “Baby Boomers”, the demanders. For the economy education as a lifelong education to get its effect, the next things should follow: firstly, we should carry out the education that is suitable especially for the adult learners of “Baby Boom Generation.” Secondly, we should extend the chance of their getting the economy education for “Baby Boom Generation.” Thirdly, we should have the department which is responsible for a lifelong education for Baby Boom Generation.
