본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 인성교육에 대한 인식과 실태 그리고 인성교육에 대한 요구를 살펴보 는 데 있다. 연구대상은 160명(남학생 94명, 여학생 66명)의 대학생이었고, 인성교육실태분석에 사용된 설문 중 대학생에게 적합하도록 수정하여 11개 문항을 사용하였고 자료 분석은 빈도분석을 사용하였 다. 그리고 설문 결과에 기초해 대학 강의에서 활용할 수 있는 현실치료의 개념(인간관, 좋은 세계, 욕구 등)에 기반을 둔 프로젝트 수업을 제시하였다. 이를 통해 인성함양을 이룰 수 있을 것으로 기대 된다. 본 연구의 설문 결과는 조사대상자가 D광역시에 한정되어 연구결과를 해석함에 있어 일반화의 어려움이 있다. 그리고 설문 결과에 기초해 인성교육에서 길러주어야 할 주요 덕목으로 나온 주제(예 절, 배려)를 중심으로 현실치료의 다양한 개념과 프로젝트 수업의 연결점을 찾아 학생 수준에 맞는 다양한 모형을 제시할 수 있을 것이다. 대학생에게 적합한 주제의 프로젝트 수업은 학생들의 동기유 발이나 흥미를 높여주고 자기주도적인 학습의 긍정적인 효과를 낳으리라 기대된다.
The purpose of the study is to survey the perceptions and the actual conditions and need for improvement for character education in university students. A total of 160 university students(94 male, 66 female) participated in this study. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. And the other purpose of the study is to suggest the character education by combining project class with reality therapy for university students. This study suggests the project class based on concepts of reality therapy (human relationships, quality world, needs etc) which can apply to university lectures on the basis of questionnaire results. Through this project class, cultivation of character can be expected to be achieved. Questionnaire results of this study are difficult to generalize in interpreting the research results because the targets for investigation are limited to D metropolitan city. Moreover, on the basis of the questionnaire results, with subjects (courtesy, solicitude) which should be improved in education of humanism, as the center, by finding connections between many concepts of reality therapy and project class, this study can suggest various models which are appropriate to students’ levels. Project class of appropriate subject to university students can raise student’s motivation and interests and can be predicted to make positive effects of self-directed learning.
