이 연구는 사회참여 체험학습에 기초하여 초등학교 3-4학년군 ‘사회’교과의 단원을 개발하는데 초점이 있다. 사회과 교육과정은 2011년에 고시되었다. 본 단원은‘사회’ 교과 내용 영역 중 ‘지역 사회의 발전’ 영역 중 ‘주민 참여 문제의 인식 및 해결하기’라는 주제로 구체화하여 단원의 전개를 구성하였다. 이 단원의 개발 과정은 프로그램 개발 실행연구의 절차를 따랐고, 연구진과 외부전문가의 상호 검토 과정을 거쳤다. 학습자의 입장에서 해당 내용 요소는 ‘주민 참여 문제의 인식과 해결하기’라는 주제로 구체화하여 단원을 구성하였 다. 단원의 개발 과정은 프로그램 개발 실행연구의 절차를 따랐고, 연구진과 외부전문가의 상호 검토과정을 거쳤다. 공동의 숙의 과정에서 주민참여 문제 해결의 다차원성을 둘러싼 쟁점이 있었다.

영문초록

This study focused on unit development in social studies for elementary school grade 3, 4 based on Society Participation Experience Learning. 2009 Social studies curriculum for elementary school was made public in 2011. In content scope of social studies, the content element was specified by the theme as 'Problem Awareness and its solution by social participation' in 'Community Development Society' and had unit development. Development course of this unit followed an action research procedure for program development, went through mutual examination process of researches and outside specialists. In learner's view, the content element was specified by the theme as 'Problem Awareness and its solution by social participation' in 'Community Development Society' and had units. In the process of shared careful consideration, there was an issue about multidimensional context to solve problems about social participation.
