본 연구에서는 ADHD 진단을 받은 138명의 아동․청소년을 지능 수준별로 나누어 대표적인 인지 및 신 경심리 검사인 ATA, KEDI-WISC, WCST를 실시하였다. 검사 결과, 첫째, ATA 시각과제 측정치에 비하 여 청각과제 측정치가 KEDI-WISC 대부분의 소검사와 더 높은 부적 상관을 보였다. 지능 수준 별 수행 차이를 비교한 결과, 시각과제의 경우 누락오류와 정반응시간평균 표준편차에서 집단 간 수행 차이를 보 였으며, 청각과제에서는 정반응시간평균을 제외한 누락오류, 오경보오류, 정반응시간평균 표준편차에서 집단 간 수행 차이를 보였다. 사후분석을 통해 좀 더 자세히 살펴보면, 평균 하 지능 집단에서는 주의력 문제가 시사되었으나 지능 수준이 평균 상 수준 이상일 경우에는 주의력 문제가 시사되지 않았다. 다만, ATA 시각과제의 오경보오류에서는 지능 수준과 상관없이 모든 집단에서 유의미한 수준에서의 주의력 문 제를 보였다. 둘째, WCST의 전체 오반응, 보속반응, 보석오류, 비보속오류, 개념수준반응은 KEDI-WISC 대부분의 소검사와 정적 상관을 보였다. 지능 수준 별 수행 차이를 비교한 결과, 전체 오반응, 보속반응, 보석오류, 비보속오류, 개념수준반응에서 집단 간 수행 차이를 보였는데, 특히, 평균 하 지능 집단에서 유 의미한 수준의 실행기능의 문제가 시사되었다. 마지막으로 본 연구 결과를 참고하여 지능 수준에 따라 ADHD로 진단된 아동․청소년의 KEDI-WISC와 ATA, WCST 반응을 해석할 때 주의 깊게 살펴볼 점과 연구의 시사점 및 제한점에 대하여 논의하였다.
This study compared variables of the ATA and the WCST among four ADHD groups according to intelligence level. The participants were 138 clinically diagnosed ADHD children and adolescence. The findings were as follows. Firstly, the correlations between the auditory ATA scores and the KEDI-WISC subtests were negatively high than those between the visual ATA scores and the KEDI-WISC subtests. On a visual test, there were significant differences in ATA performance among four IQ groups with regard to omission error and standard deviation of response time. On an auditory test, there were significant differences in ATA performance among four IQ groups with regard to omission error, commission error and standard deviation of response time. The group with below IQ had attentional problem, whereas the groups above average IQ didn't have any attentional problem. Secondly, the total number of errors, perseverative response, perseverative error, non perseverative error and conceptual level response of the WCST showed a significantly positive correlation with most of KEDI-WISC subtests. There were significant differences among four IQ groups with regard to the total number of errors, perseverative response, perseverative error, non perseverative error and conceptual level response. Especially, the group with below IQ had significantly executive function difficulty. The clinical implications and limitations of the present study were discussed.
