경남지역을 중심으로 평생교육 프로그램 6대 영역별 AHP분석 결과, 우선적으로 추진 되어야 할 평생교육 프로그램 영역은 직업능력 향상교육(0.335)으로 나타났다. 그 다음 으로 성인기초 문자해득교육(0.197), 학력보완교육(0.160), 시민참여교육(0.126), 인문교양 교육(0.094), 문화예술교육(0.088) 순으로 나타났다. 경상남도 평생교육진흥을 위한 정책적 시사점은 첫째, 평생교육에 대한 주민의 요구 가 늘어가고 지자체의 관심이 높아지고 있으므로 평생교육 추진에 공익의 관점을 가져 야 한다. 둘째, 문화예술이나 인문교양 보다는 지역주민의 역량제고와 관련된 직업훈련 또는 자격인증 프로그램 개설을 위해 노력해야 한다. 셋째, 경상남도의 평생교육 지원 은 형평성 측면을 고려하여 평생교육에 대한 양극화 해소에 주안점을 두어야 한다. 넷 째, 지역주민의 역량개발과 삶의 질 제고를 위한 광역지자체의 역할 강화이다.
This study focuses on the analysis of lifelong education policy as a promotion system and the survey of 6-sector lifelong education through AHP analysis. The results are following: occupational skill enhancement education (0.335) is the priority one among the lifelong education sector. Adult’s literacy education(0.197); academic supplementation education (0.160); citizen participation education (0.126); liberal humanity education (0.094); and culture and art education (0.088) are followed respectively. First, as the policy implications for the promotion of lifelong education for the residents increasingly are getting attention, the enacting an ordinance and the arranging personnel are important. Second, for the enhanced residents' competency, vocational training or certification programs should be open rather than culture, art or liberal arts programs. Third, lifelong education should focus on the resolving polarization by considering of the equity in Gyeongnam. Fourth, the field of lifelong learning supported by local governments will be considered the competitiveness of the local community through vocational skills training. Finally, enhancing the role of province needs for the development and the quality of life of local residents
